Knowing Your Purpose in Life

To know your purpose in life is to have a motivating force for your life—the reasons you get up in the morning! Your life’s purpose is like a compass to guide your goals and action plans. It influences your overall life decisions, influencing our behavior and gives us us a sense of direction. For many, especially Small Business Owners, our life’s purpose is connected to our craft —meaningful, satisfying work.

Small business owners are known for working long hours, making sacrifices for the craft they love, pushing their products & services full force to share their greatest love. For many it’s NOT about making money, but sharing a love for their craft.

While we all want to share our love with the world, we may lose sight of why we do what we do in the first place. We plagued with rejection and disappointment when trying to find a base fo tour products & services. As a business owner, it’s important to continuously remember why you started in the first place.

In this video, with Adam Leipzig, he shares his thoughts on how we can identify our life’s purpose with just 5 questions. If you are like me, I am always looking for books, videos or conferences that speak on empowerment and life’s purpose. After seeing this video and putting his tops in play, I quickly knew what my purpose in life was, as well as what questions I still needed to improve on to continue to grow.
